About Raouf Oderuth
Born in 1953, I have been sketching and drawing from an early childhood followed by years of working with water colours and teaching Art students in Mauritius, my birthplace. I have been in UK since 1975 and I am now retired from Lecturing totally different subjects at a local University. My passion for Art has never left me. I love to use Oils on medium to large canvas only when I am inspired to do so, rather than as a chore. I am self taught and blessed with a keen eye for details, composition, light and shade, shapes and perspectives.
